DeepSeek's official Change Log entry dated 2026-09-10 says, "The previous-generation models V4 Flash and V4 Flash Vision Exp have been retired"; it also says the legacy API name deepseek-v4-flash-vision-exp is "temporarily routed to V4.1 Flash." This identifies a vendor retirement with temporary compatibility routing.
OpenRouter's current GET /api/v1/models response, checked 2026-09-23, includes deepseek/deepseek-v4-flash-vision-exp and deepseek/deepseek-v4.1-flash:batch, but not this row id, deepseek/deepseek-v4-flash-vision-exp:batch. That model-list response does not say whether requests to the old batch id are redirected; DeepSeek's compatibility notice names the unqualified API model name and does not document OpenRouter's batch route.
